Jonathan’s Story

Jonathan describes his experience with the Surgical Weight Control Center as amazing, from beginning to end — even when getting the laparoscopic sleeve was not something he had initially thought about.

“The struggle with my weight has always been there,” He said, when asked why he hadn’t considered surgical intervention sooner. “The
day of my surgery, I went in weighing 417 pounds. A year and a half later, I now weigh 250 pounds.”

But the change in his physical self isn’t the only benefit he received from surgery.  “I no longer feel like my stomach and my brain are strangers to one another. I recommend this to anyone who has fought the late-night munchies like I have.”
